Carol Doane's Bio:
Carol Doane entered the world of media after a one year, stint in the local job market that embarked with gusto, two BA's in hand. That eclectic year found her working in a title insurance company, a real estate office, and a temporary position as an assistant German translator for a subsidiary of Boeing. Her career remained in business to business media sales until an astute manager tapped her leadership skills and put her to work harnessing and directing the energy of sales professionals. Doane managed the newspaper retail and classified advertising sales teams, then moved to a start-up to focus her career solely in online to build a local website telling stories using video and audio. Her online team won two Telly Awards that first year.
Drawn back to sales fulfilled a desire to build on her marketing background and harness the full power of digital to promote local, regional and national businesses.
